Bargain Network Appoints Vice President of Human Resources

SANTA BARBARA, CALIF., November 18, 2002 -- Bargain Network, Inc., a leading service provider of subscription-based consumer pricing information, announced today that Ramona Schwab has been named to the newly created post of Vice President, Human Resources.

During her career, Schwab has been involved in all activities related to human resources including talent recruitment, executive compensation, employee retention and incentive programs. Most recently, Schwab was the Director of Global Human Resources at QAD, Inc., a publicly traded software company, where she was responsible for compensation, benefits and human resource information systems for more than 1,400 employees throughout North America and Europe. Prior to that, she was Vice President, Corporate Human Resources at Mentor Corporation, a $350 million global medical devices and equipment manufacturer. Schwab also carried out HR duties while at Sonn Biomedical/Pfizer, Inc. and Medtronic, Inc.

Schwab received a B.S. in Business Administration from La Verne University, La Verne, California in 1992.
